What is PTE-Academic?

The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is the English test trusted by universities, colleges and governments around the world. PTE Academic is the world’s leading computer-based test of English for study abroad and migration. Typically PTE Academic results are available within five business days.

Validity
Like most of the international English Language Tests, PTE-Academic results are valid for two full years from the date you took the test.

Why take the PTE ?

PTE-A score is one of the pre-requisites for admissions in universities and colleges in many countries many other English Tests such as IELTS and TOEFL. Those students who wish to study in such universities need to get their PTE-A score to secure admission. PTE-A score also can be used as an alternative test of English while submitting application for VISA to many countries as a student. Those who apply for PR in countries like Australia and New Zealand can submit PTE-A score as a proof of English language proficiency, which is also considered for the calculation of qualifying points for migration. Many professional organisations such as APHRA accept PTE for the professional registration.

Which countries accept PTE?

PTE is accepted as evidence of English language proﬁciency for, work and migration in Australia and New Zealand. For study, PTE is accepted by institutions in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA as well as many other countries.

Australia
PTE is accepted for many visa categories, as well as for permanent residency in Australia. It is also a requirement for some Australian professional organizations and accrediting bodies.

Canada
Many Colleges and Universities in Canada accept PTE as a Test of English for their admission purpose.

New Zealand
The New Zealand government accepts PTE as evidence of English language proficiency for many visas, including those within the Skilled Migrant, and student categories.

UK
Evidence of English language ability is a requirement for those applying to various courses in Universities and Colleges in the UK and many accept PTE for this purpose.

USA
USA accepts PTE for various entry requirements to Universities and Colleges as a proof of English language proficiency.

Course Details

Duration of Course

PTE Academic training is typically for a duration of 12 working days @3 Hrs. a day.

Class timing

There are 3 batches for PTE Academic training. The batch timings are 7.30 AM to 10 AM, 10 AM to 1PM and 2PM to 5 PM. Classes are available Monday through Friday. Life Education remains closed on Saturdays , Sundays and public holidays.

Entry requirements

Students who have completed a minimum of +2 level education can enroll for PTE at Life Education. Though a valid Passport is not a pre-requisite for admission, it is mandatory for the registration for the PTE test. Students are encouraged to obtain their passport before or during the course. Students who have not attained the age of 18 will have to submit a parental consent form while registering for the test.

Training Methodology

Orientation

The candidate is provided detailed and personalized orientation about test patterns and test strategies. This individual attention enables the student to feel comfortable with the learning environment and confident to clear their doubts without feeling any nervousness.

Delivery

PTE training is provided on individual computers. Each student is allotted a slot with individual computer. Listening, Reading, Writing and speaking sessions are trained on computer.

Individual session

One to one feedback sessions are provided on all four modules which will help students to better their performance by correcting their mistakes.
