Personal Attention

Feeling lost in the crowd during group learning sessions has become quite a common problem among students.

Well, not anymore! because at Life Education, we believe that every student deserves individual attention. Our learning system ensures that each student is coached based on his/her previous exposure to English language. The four modules of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in IELTS are offered to the students as per their individual interests and requirements. This helps us focus on specific problem areas and take suitable corrective measures. Individual attention from the faculty boosts student morale and makes sure that every single learning session is an exciting learning opportunity.

Audio Facilities

It is so much more fun to learn a language when there are audio-visual aids, and not just textbook jargon. At Life Education, we have a well-equipped audio lab with the latest audio materials. Our large collection of study materials are supplemented with interesting audio CDs and videos, making for complete student reference material.

Teacher-student discussions are followed by audio/video exercises to monitor students’ listening and comprehension skills. Facilities such as open listening system and individual listening system (using headphones), and equipment like a multimedia projector help IELTS aspirants at Life Education score high band in the listening tests.

New Age Learning Techniques

Who says ‘play and learn’ is just for kids? In fact, we believe ‘play’ can be highly effective while learning the ropes in the English language. At Life Education, we have incorporated interesting exercises in the courses that guarantee an enriching learning experience. These exercises include word games like scrabble and crosswords, and activities such as quizzes and storytelling.

At Life Education, the concept of ‘play’ doesn’t stop at learning. A break goes a long way; which is why we offer a host of indoor games like carrom board and chess, and gatherings like movie outings and picnics for the students to relax and bond with each other.

Regular Interviews/Group Sessions

We understand that speaking constitutes the most important part of communication. However, speaking becomes the biggest challenge for those who have native tongue influence on their English. Talking in English makes such people a nervous wreck. Imagine having to attend an interview in this state of mind!

Taking this into account, at Life Education, we carry out regular mock interview sessions for students. These practice sessions are aimed at improving speaking skills and help students prepare for the speaking module of the IELTS test. Besides one-on-one sessions, group interviews are also held to improve interpersonal communicative skills.

Weekly Model Tests

Mocks tests are cool, we think. They take the stress out of the real thing! We like it when our students handle the final IELTS test with ease and confidence. We conduct weekly tests that are modelled on the original IELTS test, and provide constructive feedback that helps in improving students’ final scores.

Teacher-Student Ratio

As an extension of our policy to provide individual attention to our students, at Life Education, we focus on maintaining an appropriate teacher-student ratio. While our speaking classes are one-to-one sessions, writing and reading classes are limited to groups of four to five students.

Anitha Miss is just too passionate about teaching. Her talks are truly inspiring. The study material is quite comprehensive, incorporating all aspects of the exam. The practice tests simulate the actual exam and the scores are an indicator to your performance on the actual test day.
